Apologies for the delay, but here's a report on last week's duo live performance at P's Bar, a jazz bar in Ikebukuro!
This time, I teamed up with clarinetist Atsushi Miyawaki-kun. It had been about a year since we last performed together, around July last year.
I selected many enjoyable numbers for us to play, and it turned out surprisingly well! We discovered unexpected common ground and had a great time rehearsing.
I think our live performance showcased a wonderful combination better than last time. We received many kind words from the audience, and owner Mr. Abe was pleased as well!
We've decided to perform together again on December 3rd, so if you're interested, please come join us! We'll be preparing songs by Eddie Daniels and Bucky Pizzarelli.
