This time, thanks to the younger members of the Honeyshiro team in their 20s (who also work at the outlet), we were able to perform at a facility we’ve collaborated with several times before. A big thank you to these young team members who worked hard to create this wonderful opportunity for us!
Since it was a weekend lunchtime, many visitors were drawn to the sound of music! Performing at the outlet, where we’ve been warmly welcomed before, made this live event feel even more special. Seeing the audience enjoying our music, clapping along to the rhythm, and smiling at us left a lasting impression on all the members of our band.
For this performance, we selected a setlist that could be enjoyed by people of all ages while incorporating songs that fit the season. From classic jazz numbers to Disney-inspired pop arrangements and Christmas songs, we aimed to create a lineup that reflected Honeyshiro’s unique style and connection with the audience. Watching people hum along, kids swaying to the rhythm, and families enjoying the moment made me realize once again the incredible power of music.
Seeing our band members smiling and enjoying themselves on stage reminded me of why starting this big band was such a great decision. It’s truly rewarding to see how music deepens the bonds among our members. While daily practice is essential to perfect our performances, I believe that the joy of sharing the music together is even more important.
We’ll continue to work hard as a team to deliver even more captivating performances in future concerts. This experience taught us so much, and we’re committed to growing step by step, learning from every opportunity.
Finally, I’d like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the staff at the outlet for their support and to everyone who came to see us perform. We hope to continue bringing joy and special moments to people through our music, so please keep supporting us! And if there’s a chance for another performance, we’d be delighted to join again (laughs).
Looking forward to seeing you all at our next concert!
