A little while ago, at the end of July, I had the opportunity to perform at an event hosted by DE LA MER.
"De La Mer" is a luxury skincare brand, famously known for "Crème de la Mer." This signature product is widely supported by celebrities and beauty enthusiasts around the world. The event was attended by many well-known influencers, making it a truly glamorous affair.
I had the privilege of performing with a guitar trio, and my fellow musicians were truly exciting!
First, on bass, we had Toshio "Deji" Fujino. Deji-san is a bassist known for his work with the Gentle Forest Big Band and Minyo Crusaders. Although I had known about him for some time, this was our first time performing together.
On drums was Atsuki Takizawa, affectionately known as Takky. Takky and I have known each other for many years and have been through a lot together, but this was our first time sharing the stage. I was thrilled from the moment our performance was confirmed.
With these two amazing musicians, it was impossible not to have a great time, and it was truly a wonderful experience! I feel like I grew a bit from this event.
