Yesterday, we had a jazz session at Mojo, the music café in Tokorozawa.
Since it was the first session, I was anxious about how many people would come, but in the end, 16 people showed up! We even had some spectators, which likely provided a good amount of positive tension for the performers.
I found several areas for improvement myself, so I aim to make each session better and better. I was delighted to see members of the big band join us, and we even had some musicians making their session debut!
As I mentioned in a previous post, this event aims to connect musicians from the southwestern part of Saitama Prefecture (Tokorozawa, Sayama, Iruma, Hannō, Kawagoe, and so on). Whether you're looking for musical friends or want to make your session debut, feel free to join us! Of course, you’re welcome to just observe and enjoy delicious drinks at Mojo while listening to music.
