The other day, we had the pleasure of performing a jazz live show at Tokorozawa Sakura Town!

The last time we performed there, we unfortunately had some less-than-ideal weather, but this time it was the complete opposite — bright blue skies and almost too sunny!
The weather was absolutely perfect and created a wonderful atmosphere for the event.

Since it was during Golden Week, the venue was filled with many visitors throughout the day, creating a lively and energetic environment from beginning to end.
We were truly happy to perform for such a wide variety of people — families with children, groups of friends enjoying the holiday together, and even passersby who happened to stop and listen to the music.

Performing in an open space like this has a very different charm compared to a traditional live house.
The atmosphere of the venue, the flow of people, and even the weather itself all become part of the music in a way.
As performers, we were having so much fun that our excitement naturally kept building throughout the performance. (laugh)

For this live show, we focused mainly on jazz standards with a strong sense of swing.
It was wonderful to see audience members moving along to the rhythm, smiling, and applauding warmly during the performance.
Thanks to everyone there, we were able to play in a very welcoming and comfortable atmosphere.

Toward the end of the show, we also held a session time featuring the performers.
Personally, I think that ended up being the most exciting part of the day! (laugh)

The spontaneous interaction and sense of unpredictability that emerge in those moments are truly one of the greatest charms of jazz.
We as musicians were enjoying ourselves immensely, and I hope that feeling reached the audience as well.

At Tokorozawa Sakura Town, not only music events but many different kinds of cultural events are held regularly, and the entire venue is always full of energy and creativity.
It is a space where a cultural atmosphere and a sense of openness coexist beautifully, making it one of my personal favorite venues to perform at.

Thank you once again for giving us such a wonderful opportunity.

I am already looking forward to performing there again in the future!
Whether you live nearby or have never visited before, I highly recommend stopping by sometime and experiencing the atmosphere for yourself.
